Ronald BLACKNELLi, 3rd child of Wilfred Arthur BLACKNELL and Ceridwen DANIELS [Family], was born on 22 Aug 1931ii at n/a, in Llay, Denbighshire. Ronald died on 19 Jan 2006 aged 74. He was a BT engineer in 1961i. He was educated at Llay Juniori in Llay, Denbighshire. He was educated at Grove Park Grammari in Wrexham, Denbighshire. Joined the Royal Navy as an apprentice 4th February 1947. Spent most of his time in the RN on destroyers, with his first stint abroad for two & half years in the Mediteranean. Not really suited to the life and was very happy to leave 21st August 1961! Married in Londonderry N.Ireland while serving at HMS Sea Eagle Londonderry. One son and one daughter listed. |  |
