1. (Research):Studied Llay Infants, Junior and Grove Park Grammar School for Girls Wrexham. Worked as Librarian in Boots Wrexham for a while before training as a Teacher at Cartrefle Wrexham. Finished up as Deputy Head Teacher at Llay Infants School before taking early retirement in 1985. Died of cancer.; [Note Record]

Spent most of his time in the RN on destroyers, with his first stint abroad for two & half years in the Mediteranean. Not really suited to the life and was very happy to leave 21st August 1961! Married in Londonderry N.Ireland while serving at HMS Sea Eagle Londonderry.; [Note Record]
